David Simon tells Bill Moyers: "There was a class war, and the poor people lost. We are Reagan’s children, and we are Thatcher’s children. There is no society, there’s just you. We bought this stuff hook, line and sinker and we are building that. We’re getting the America we’ve paid for.”

Special Class?
"You are not a special privileged class above everyone else because you are a heterosexual Christian, you are the same as everyone else – and it’s time for you to get over yourselves." - Manny Schewitz

Bottom Line
Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. - 1 John 4:7-8 NLT
I Must Not Forget This---
“The bread you do not use is the bread of the hungry. The garment hanging in your wardrobe is the garment of the person who is naked. The shoes you do not wear are the shoes of the one who is barefoot. The money you keep locked away is the money of the poor. The acts of charity you do not perform are the injustices you commit.”

No Access
"We need to stop having the 'teach a man to fish' mindset when it comes to the final solution of our economic issues. It does little good to teach a man to fish, if the lake is completely bought out and controlled by a wealthy few. He might be able to fish, but he will have to do so as a low wage worker where no matter how hard he works, the compensation will keep diminishing. We need real reform in our economic structure. Unfortunately, this 'fish' philosophy has been used by those who often do not want real structural change but instead feel comfortable shifting the blame to the workers and poor." -- Will David, "Teaching a Man to Fish When There is No Access to the Lake"
One World
When we see images of the earth from space, we see no boundaries between us, just this one blue planet, where climate change affects us all, where the global economy brings us all together. In the past, Tibet, surrounded by mountains, cherished its isolation. But, such isolation is outdated. Today, we need to take account of the well-being of the whole of humanity and preserving the health of the planet.

Under Which Law?
Rats and roaches live by competition under the law of supply and demand; it is the privilege of human beings to live under the laws of justice and mercy.
